Rescued from a backyard breeder where he spent his days isolated without walks or new experiences, Abraham is naturally nervous and timid at first. But once he feels safe and comfortable, he transforms into the most affectionate, cuddly companion you could imagine.

The Abraham his caregivers know and love is playful and active, romping around with toys and even jumping into their arms on command. He's discovered a passion for fetch and swimming, showing just how much joy he can experience when he feels secure. His enthusiasm for life shines through once his confidence builds.

Abraham needs a quiet home without children where he can decompress and feel safe. He can be reactive to strangers, so slow, positive introductions are essential. Busy environments with lots of people or dog traffic can overwhelm him, causing him to panic and pull strongly on the leash. He would thrive in a home with a fully fenced backyard where he can truly relax and open up at his own pace.

Due to his flight risk, Abraham needs extra safety measures including double leashing on walks, a GPS collar, and baby gates at doorways to prevent escape attempts.
